We have a glorious Captain in our lives
who builds with his own hands
So as to know the vessel best
and how it might be so well used.
Trust in His power fills the sails,
Faith finds answers in the night;
dark clouds yield flowering love
standing never alone, His hands
always upon us;
Our flaws are made of glass
the way we have been shown is golden,
compassion brings rainbows to our eyes
our tears rise as offerings and thankfulness.
He knows the vessel best
and how it might be so well used.

I know this "Captain" and I am finally at a point in my life where I have allowed Him to mold me into what He wants me to be. Thank you for these words. I am strong in the faith and remain steadfast. God is good to me. You are in my life for a reason and for this season I am ever grateful. Again, my dear friend...I thank you.
Always ♥

This is so how Renee thinks as well!
I admire her faith and trust in the power of all goodness and God. Without that faith, where would we rely our troubles?
Your poem is lovely and I specially liked second last stanza.
Thanks for accepting the invitation
