Better days came around the corner this frost
Leaven the streets with the gravel mudslides,
Over turned wagons with medicine it tossed,
With all the latest remedies curing he provides,
Into the saloon for a thirsty whiskey drink,
Giving the bartender the heads up as he swallows,
Tasting the sting of the brew; a blink,
Hitting the floor all as drinking follow
Etched the cowboy stood a painting as,
Tough of the west drinking one hand playing,
Until the wee hour with a poker hand whereas,
Many a fate of cards led to demise,
Both a victor of the table, bleeding, conveying
Leather straps holding six shooter too apprise
Everything that statures the impact of bullets astray,
With its whiskey whores dressed up colored bows,
Enlisting in dances upon the corral where all,
Evolve amongst the winter’s night s west,
Dripped of slush and saloon billiard ball

thank u for having this contest. I haven't done an acrostic in a while. It was bit hard, but I finally pulled something that u would like. Growing in Texas, its like the old west, but finally modernize. There are still some small places that haven't hit the millieumn. thank u for the wonderful sentiments and the applaudes given to my poem. Saddie23
