Seeing you is like life
alive the miracle I wonder how
when this galaxy amidst galaxies
is watercolors run together in rain
dark nights disappeared with clusters of galaxies and colors
and meanings upon rounded worlds
How I love you and wonder how
nature has spared a few moments
away from the inexorable fall
of leaves and forests desiccating, cold
watercolors run and frozen
meaning frozen too
You are a white light
in the darkness love is seeing you
when this galaxy amidst galaxies disappears
yet I will always know it is you I love
with forests of other memories and myself too
standing to disappear in the futility of space-time
I love you
and the hope is, that God is love.
Please tell me what you think

Awesome!
The hope is, God Is Love! Great Line To Ponder Upon.
I feel the same way myself.. And I really enjoyed this piece.
Keep up the great works, and thanks for sharing you.

thanks
Really good photo of an earth-like moon. If there was an ocean on the moon thats what a setting earth would look like.

I feel that life has to have meaning, but the arrangement of galaxies and planets is devoid of meaning in itself. Perhaps the desire for significance is a foible one is better without, but it leads to thoughts of sweeping grandeur and often of great beauty. You have joined the observations of astronomy with the fall of leaves in a forest, details of scale which are joined in the great unity.
I found the lack of punctuation or perhaps the line breaks confusing. For example,
"You are a white light
in the darkness love is seeing you"
I read several times, to appreciate the ideas. The apprehension of God in love is time-honored.

Thanks Margaret
I met someone important to me recently.
In looking at a particular Galactic photo I felt the insignificance of everything including myself, and the futility of every thought I have ever had-especially in youth as I sought to comprehend cosmology, time and being. Even the galaxies and Universe(s) are meaningless in that paradigm. Yet it is in that paradigm that the unifying love of God can be expressed and create perhaps...even superstring theory and extra dimensions of space and possibly of time too may unify the absolute expanse of space-time representatively with the love of God.
The nature of the Universe, the existence of matter includes the metaphor of human aging as desicating leaves (if one ever freezes any extremities the body can seem somewhat plant-like).
I didn't put stops in
"You are a white light
in the darkness love is seeing you"
because she is both a white light; something like the transcending radiance of Jesus Christ on the hill talking with Elija and Moses is brought to mind-I think that is how the wonderful phenomenal beauty of someone loved appears existntially--and because she is a light in the darkness, and because in the darkness love is being able to see her. In the paradigm of a cold universe the miracle of love is that it is. God let light exist.
