Safety smart,
He always knew the thing to do
He’d never put the car in drive
Till everyone’s seat belts were buckled
Obeying the speed limit,
Sometimes he’d go under it a few miles
His car stayed maintained, almost mint condition
“Take care of me, since I take care of you,” he’d tell it
Making a complete stop for every stop sign
He’d look left and right many times
Reflexes like a cat, that car would stop on a dime
Time after time, he avoided a mishap
He wouldn’t drive while incapacitated
Nor would he drive when extremely emotional
But one night, he drove just like the rest from work
Except he never made it home…
Please tell me what you think

Nice poem! It has good flow and rythum, but it ends kind of apruptly, maybe add some more to the story to make it a little more emotional.
