meditation 10 (letting go)
give up
organic operations
of mind,
intellect,
consciousness;
stop
measuring time
with your thoughts,
ideas,
concepts,
views,
attitudes.
Center Down
and in
to
your breath;
follow,
follow and enter
the dying,
the living
awareness :
God is
so much more
than All
we
can think,
or
imagine.

Beautiful Write
An increadible write to us about God and our lifes and thoughts! Meditaion 10 (letting go) so excellent. Letting go is a form of meditation and really the only form. The first line give up and the last line Can think or imagine! So few words yet increadible wisdom I needed to here and hopefully others will benefit as well. Thank you for sharing your gift to write poetry with me, Blessings Kelle Marie, stavykm

Brilliant this is absolutely breathtaking. Which it should be! I hope more read this because it is a great way to exhale all the negativity from the day and ground yourself where you return to the center of your being!
Loved it!
Thank you so much for sharing this~
Blessings~

my goal is to have a chap book of thirty-one of these 'meditations' with artwork by christmas next year for family and friends. I am planning on hand lettering the poems and hand coloring the artwork - then getting a litho house to make the 8x10 - copies. (probly on Gutenberg Laid or something heavy like that) I am going to hand- "stitch" them so they will have a loose feel in the hand - all signed, maybe 20-25 copies. So far i am up to $385, unbound...roughly $20 a piece. Maybe 2009 would be better, i am so lazy.

To follow this advice candidly would probably lead to freedom, but alas, some of us are stubborn

Written with the delicate touch of an Asian sage . . . deep and beautiful!!!!!

Beautiful. Only a wise soul know how little we do, in truth, understand. Sublime poetry my friend

And as a Tai Chi Practitioner of many many years - right on the money!

do you number your 'meditations' like studs on an enlightenment belt?

This is wonderful soul food, Richard. Loved the Zen-like quality of this poem. Somehow it reminds me of something a martial artist said about "feeling the pulse - become one with the pulse". What a joy to read the peace that rises from your words... the letting go, the centering - but also the looking up to God. Thank you for this poetic meditation, my friend.
