Was just dropping by to finalist-list entries to the contest, Mari, and remembered that I had discovered this image among my stash:

That first link of this haiku-chain still seems very Hitchcock/Bates Motel-ish to me!!!

It almost feels as though Alfred Hitchcock himself may have drawn these haiku-images, Mari!  It feels to see that flashing neon sign outside the Bates Motel--And gosh if I only thought to attire myself as a murderess complete with a knife that last Halloween with the EX!  J/K...???

Thank you for this entry to the contest and loved the preview too, so...

    back at you!!!

About 2 years ago I wrote some of those Halloween haiku to the haikuclub where haikumonk and AndrewHide were members, among others. Need to find them back and clean up the cobwebs, or maybe keep the cobwebs for special effect

You're evil, I always knew it and now I have proof! Why are such things in your noggin?

The first is very Psycho (the movie) the second is just sick, lol.

Okey, slap me with something against my head, really
I don't like halloween lol... I just see it as some kind of commercial thing, like Christmas and Valentine and whatever days there are still out there

Anywa, I like the wordplay with 'dead and breakfast'

    huggles for you

We don't have many Halloween parties here anyway. And if I see pumpkins, I think of soup or pie

My neighbour has a pumpkin on his front door...

Well, had actually I smashed my foot in it when I came home and didn't look where I was walking

Luckily it was a pumpkin and not
