The second of May
Almost a decade ago
It was a tragic day
The world lost a beautiful soul
A rockstar prodigy
Taken long before his time
Renowned for his musical ability
Our Pink Spider was one of a kind
He was there and then gone
None of us are ready to say goodbye
hide's memory will live on
His music will never die
Even in an untimely death, your music won't be lost
We'll hold on to your memory, no matter what the cost
Author notes
This was written in honor of one of the very first musical artists in the Visual Kei movement. hide, the father of Visual Kei. Guitarist for X Japan and well known solo artist.
No idea who I'm talking about? Here:

I like it, but the last two lines are awkward. SOmething like
"Even in an untimely death,
your music won't be lost.
We'll hold on to your memory,
no matter of the cost."
I don't know if I like that any better though... Hard to figure out. ANywho, I liked it.
