Days may pass as nights as well.
Ivories are shiny and ebonies as well.
Through each transiting boundaries,
of low and high tides.
We must learn to be open palms,
for fore coming shifts.
Learn to adapt.
Adapt to learn.

Wonderful words penned here with a dashes of wisdom.....Congrats on the HM!

Very wise words and a very lovely entry into my contest. Although it's quite short it certainly speaks volumes. Thank you so much and good luck.

The poem has a gentleness that the reader felt,an oriental sagaciousness akin to pearls of wisdom.Perhaps instead of passed it may work aswell with pass?Indeed we must adapt to change and change to adapt, the irony for me was it is very much the motto of the Marine and yet it is a truism that we each face along the journeys we take.
Good luck with your writing.
