Dramatic looks-
intense
to match her being
long black hair
and piercing eyes
that contain such power
such a gift
she is the eldest of her sisters
palest of skin
but darkest of mind
haunted in ways
they do not understand
she is driven
needing to have
to be
so much more than most
and her failures plague her
much more than her successes
will please her
she has a need
a compulsion
to be everything...
successful
nurturing
protective...
responsible for all
and forgiven
nothing
least of all
her imperfections
she is the strongest
in her power
in her control
and therefore
cannot allow herself
to need
cannot allow herself
to break...
but denying one's frailty
one's weakness
does not make one
invincible
and in one moment of violence
her body failed her
giving in
where her mind would not
all her life
she sacrificed
feeling it to be
her duty
her role...
but it was not
her life
but rather
her death
that provided
the greatest sacrifice
for with Prue's death
her sisters could live
hurting-
grieving-
but living
and their lives
insured the lives of more...
Prudence Halliwell...
through such untimely death
gave endless life...
(RIP)

A great tribute to Prue indeed. She was a strong character and I think we felt the sisters' feeling of being lost and confused when she died. This poem portrayed the extreme dependence on her. Thanks for entering and best wishes!
