abound with magick i, one of the fey
my gossamer wings take me never astray
out of the chrysalis fair fun and fleeting
with a sly grin for whom i'll be meeting
this gold heavy man will be easy defeating
this bumbling fools money simple to acquire
with my array of voices, like and enchaniting choir
is but the ways of the winged conspire
i hadn't seen for my greedy desire
astute was this man of merchant attire
enragement, at my foolishness was provoked
as by the forever green i was forcefully choked
the veil over my memeories slowly evoked
a beckoning finger with dark mystery
strangly comforting like child history
memories sigh and i know i've returned

I enjoyed this one, I'll have to read the others too. I liked the form too, it gave it some closure by opening and then closing up again. Like wings. Good luck with the series.

I like the linkage from the top line to the bottom line with the rhyme.
Your rhymes are fairly sophisticated I think.
And I liked the story about being one of the fae and running around with your faerie-like sprights and trying to steal from the merchant. Nice ending though, with the death via plant.
I like the title also.
That would be it.
