Under and over I'm found there both.
I might hide the remains of a ghost.
Maybe I'm just there because of chance,
But there I live with the ants.
I'm hard to guess but not hard to find.
I'm out there thinking without a mind.
I can be found at night or day.
It is with me that young children play.
I can be small and big or big and small
Or I might not be there at all.
I can exist in water or space without air.
I can go to crushing depths that you wouldn't dare.
Living I am not; sometimes cold, sometimes hot.
Now that you know this about me,
Even though I'm not he or she,
I want you to tell me... What am I?

Aaaarrrrrggggghhh!!! I must know the answer!!!! Let me see... I think that the answer is your imagination. It can go anywhere you can think of, people can have a big or a small imagination, and "young children play" with it.
