I am confused as how I got here.
Alone.
I am foolish.
I think of how your smile taught me to love.
I shouldn't have walked out.
I am in the worst of times.
I miss your ear's attention.
I missed hugging you when you cried.
Remember how we loved to eat ice cream so fast?
Our brains froze.
Now my heart is frozen.
I lost my life.
I lost my Hide-and-Go-Seek companion.
I was happier then,
When you were my friend.

Great thoughts on the quote..and does emphasize that we don't know what we had until it is gone. Very well written. Thank you for entering and good luck.
