It seems like the dawning of our time
has swept away the reason,
the reason for sanity.
The books that are published
the songs that are presented
are the reason for the fall of humanity.
They were once like you
before the madness overtook
and all that was left was nothing.
Yet, there may still be hope
as the sun still rises
you believe that there is still something.
So the colours fade
and the stars are taken away
as the world hears the heart breaking cry.
But i shall always remember your face
the time and the place
as love knows no goodbye.

This is a most enjoyable read. Very profound...you leave something to the imagination for the reader, and I like that. I would say that the strongest line for me, or the one that I draw on the most is the last,
"as love knows no goodbye." I truly believe that true love knows no goodbye. A very good write.
