She Shall Be Exalted

Missing image

serenity and gracious beauty
surges and emerges
with the fullness of time

her peaceful countenance
veils all trace of life's complexities
that at times held her in captivity

she rises supremely triumphant
on the crests of life's advancing waves
full of fresh hope and refinement

Renee Matthews-Jackson
you are a precious crown jewel;
regal among women

Author notes

For Poetryality, my sister, my friend and at times, a partner in crime.

As I'm sure you remember, you were one of the first people I met on this site when I joined. You were also the one to award me my first trophy. A lot has taken place between then and now. In my thoughts and in my heart, you have remained... forever friends. I love you Lady!

    Beautiful!

    Kimberly,

We have been sisters since the beginnings here. You have been my angel and my friend. This poem brings me to tears. I am so appreciative of your kinship, so grateful for you being in my life. This poem is absolutely beautiful. It touches my heart to the depths. Thank you so much for all the faith you have in me, and the support you've always given so freely. What a blessing! I LOVE YOU! ♥

    Always

    Renee

Every woman should be so lucky as to have someone think sure glowing thoughts and carry such a deep love for her. To have one woman compliment another such as you have done here, says a lot abouyt her character. Good luck in your contest. I am glad you have a friend such as thins.

And so very gracious is your poem as well!
It does feel good to know we have such wonderful people as friends. Your words make justice to that lovely poetess.
    Thanks for this great entry

Sounds like one who has come to realize the truth that we rise or fall by our own hand (aka actions)

    Hope is meaningless unless applied
    with action for the fix
Success or failure both do come
but you're always in the mix

Through good or bad we can achieve
but when the end does come
    Memories, all that will remain
to show which choice we've done

    Hugs...Eddy

Oh she couldn't help but be moved by this. It's a wonderous tribute of friendship. My favorite lines are; "she rises supremely triumphant
on the crests of life's advancing waves".

This is what a true and sincere dedication to someone that you hold close to your heart should read. You have penned some mighty beautiful words of love, and friendship. I am sure that she will enjoy this and hold this close to her heart, as much as I did reading this. I wish you the best of luck in your contest. In my personal opinion, I feel this is truely a winner
