Leaves fall
silently into the lake
as though tears
shed from lofty boughs
sensing that the icy breath
passing through their core
may bring with it something far more sinister
changes in the wind however
always seem to unveil
a different kind of enchantment.

This is beautiful and the flow is as smooth as the image of the leaves falling like tears from the branches. Well done!

This is beautiful and brings with it many thoughts to ponder....The words create much more than the changing of Seasons!
