Eleka Nahmen Nahmen

With blanded pen I write to you
Let you be spellbound by my muse
My hand doth write provokingly
So hear this spell will enchant thee

Eleka nahmen nahmen
Ah tum ah tum eleka nahmen
Eleka nahmen nahmen
Ah tum ah tum
Eleka...
Eleka...

Vacant words my skill? Denial—
Truth be guile I’ll be vile
Empty, plenty, without a hue
Allusions fill plain gasp—ado

Let fair be foul and foul be fair
As silly words and rhyme prepare
Of hospitality...
bare insanity...
and here be proud of me

Boo I enchant you!!!

    Thanks for your entry

Nicely done. This was a cute poem. Good flow and structure, reminded me of the song, "I put a Spell on you" Love the picture, I acutally have that picture, used it in a background I made.

    Happy Halloween

Very nice flow. You can sing to it just as well as you can the original song. Beautiful imagery. Wonderful write! Thanks for entering my contest!

Thank you. I wanted to give it that kind of feel by using the couplets like the Three Withes did in Macbeth and like Medea in Metamorphosis. To make it enchanting like a song that at times, draws you in with the performance of it.

    a fun write

I have no idea what the Eleka nahmen nahmen part means but it seems quite fun and it's nice to recognize the Shakespearean illusion.
