A holiday noon, summer time ~
That's the first page in my dream,
A book with tales and rhyme
Enchantment ~ its prime theme.
I slowly opened my dearest book
The world transformed to a fairy land,
A garden, hillside and a lovely brooke
All came live and took their stand.
The flower I touched became a gem stone
Lilies became diamonds, roses became rubys
They all glittered, in sunlight they shone,
There were fairies, as I touched one of the bees.
Wishing for a rainbow, I took the cloth by my side
Away it flew and took its place on the sky,
My horses were unicorns, as I mounted to ride
And down we came, after a sail so high.
My hat was transformed to a boat in brown
Stars twinkled from the dandellions I blew
My wreath became a golden crown
And a castle ascended from the kite I flew.
Thus went the tale, I read them page by page
Those were the chapters from my dream,
I was the star, the earth ~ my stage
And enchantment ~ its prime theme.
