What's in a name?
A C or a K.
A letter's difference.
One small fish's secret shame.
Alaskan pollock, fiend of fame.
Tastes so right, thou fishy guise.
But please, tell no more lies.
I love you as is.
K or no K.
I love Krab.
Author notes
Yeah, it's been a while since I've taken the time to write a poem, so I figured I'd just get the juices going with some syllable work (not the pattern). Not one of my better works, but just something to get my mind in it...
As for the content, I love crab and krab. Krab is made primarily from Alaskan pollock and I like pollock just fine on its own, so I figured I'd let it know that it doesn't have to pretend to be something it's not.
Absolutely random yes, but fun nonetheless.
Please tell me what you think

Wonderful...!!!
This is a very simple, light piece. A good read that goes with a leisurely cup of steaming hot coffee. You say it's not one of your better works, but this is the first one am reading, and I think this is fab. Interestingly, only the second stanza has an aa bb rhyme scheme. Even otherwise, the absence of a rhyme scheme is not evident or more importantly, missed in the other stanzas 'coz the poem flows so well. It has such a matter-of-fact style that hits you on the head without making it too heavy, if you know what I mean
Very well done. Good luck and God bless

Thanks for the complement, obviously it's been a while since I've been on (so busy with school and the like), but I'm glad you liked it!
