Have you ever felt like,
Your life isn't a certain way?
That long ago it left the path
You should be on today.
I myself am now there,
In that lost and lonely place.
I feel that I have let everyone down.
I'm just a huge disgrace.
The friends I once was seen with,
Most are now long gone,
And the one that I still see
Seem so withdrawn.
This year I should be graduating,
But I know it's nowhere near.
As I still work on it,
My friends will disappear.
They'll al move on the college,
And bigger and better things.
They'll leave me behind
While they learn to spread their wings.
And here I'll sit still waiting,
For my turn to shine.
But I'm not sure if it'll ever happen.
I swear I'm last in line.
