Mommy i want to chase the butterfly's
Mommy why can't i catch them?
The pretty butterfly's
They glow gold and pretty pastels
Even when I close my eyes i can see
Mommy their in my dreams
I see them all the time
But mommy, I can't catch them
Their alawys just out of reach
Can you get me a net?
To help me catch the butterfly's
And make them go away
It drives me crazy mommy
I want to chase the butterfly's mommy
I want to catch one for you!
Mommy why do you say they don't exist?
i see them everywhere, look one landed in your hair!
Mommy why don't you believe me?
Why are we going to the doctor?
Will he help me catch the butterfly's?
Wait! mommy why are you leaving?
Come back I'll make them go away
Please, mommy, don't leave me
mommy i need you! they hurt me here
Mommy, I want my mommy!

The Butterfly Effect
creeeeeeeepy... it kind of in a way reminds me of that one part in that song by Disturbed... Down With The Sickness... wheres hes going all off on his mom for being a sick sadistic F*%$(G whore... or something?... anyways becides that... i liked the poem... its rare to read something thats just plain fucked strange dark and twisted.... -
ooh, dark insanity, with eerily enough a butterfly background.
a bit off the beaten rhythmic path, but the story is scary in a kind of primal sense, not the generic "omg, he just got ripped in half by a bearshark" style but more of a horror at reality.
nice
