Tormented

She walked on through a bleak light
Wanting to simply pass the dreary time
She played upon her dark emotions
And fell through to hates blindness

Day in and out she washed the tears away
With vodka and whiskey wanting numbness
Only succeeding with heartache and misery
As the clock ticked on in endless tune

The cuts came one by one as she screamed
Silently inside demanding the pain to
Subside from her soul's wanton need of
Being filled with sorrow and disgust

Increased hurt fills the spirit that once
Was whole until the torment started coming
Back to haunt her into darkness of nothing
But of endless time and unsavory moments

this is really emotional, it's dark it gloomy, you can really feel the ( forgive me for saying) but the emo-ness tied up within it. these might be words for the rest of us but for some they are a way of life and should'n be ignored....different people have different ways of screaming, don't they.

Such beautiful words in such a dark display, This is beautiful and deep reflecting your feelings, and bleeding them out for the world to see
    Great work

    "Silently inside demanding the pain"

How true is that of a cutter; the pain hurts, but yet feels so good, that you actually demand it of yourself because you feel it takes the inner pain away.

Certainly you sound tormented, and more than a little lost... if you shoudl ever wish to talk, feel free to PM me

This is a very distressed person, she feels, I think, nothing but pain and is in great need of help. I think you captured the feeling of pain very well, one gets almost depressed themselves reading this, so the poem is a success in the emotive category. I can only hope that this person can recover some kind of peace with themselves.

Thanks, I'm still trying to recover, but thank you for your comment. It's easy to write the emotions you have that are fresh upon your heart.
