untitled

The wind flies 'round my face,
Dancing with my hair
And breathing life into the trees
Who seem to bend and sway for me.
The clouds darken, dimming the courtyard
To an easy shade of something
Peaceful and serene.
A cool blanket of morning dew
And mist
Caress my body and gently
Kiss my lips.
I close my eyes and
Lean into the image of you.

    "I close my eyes and
Lean into the image of you." - beautiful conclusion.

I prefer the second half of this piece though I may say that the first half is also good.

I like the soft touch in its exquisiteness.

    Wonderful, poet!

Keep writing and best of luck.

There is gentle "sway" feeling through this, which is probably intended. What might not be intended is the somewhat empty feeling that accompanies the "wishfulness." I can't tell...maybe it's because of my own personal emptiness that this seems to strike such a chord, but there's nothing tangible in an image. Sorry if I'm being tangential. Cool piece, interesting feelings.

You're right, it is empty. There is nothing tangible there, just the image and the surrounding nature. Like trying to kiss a ghost.
