Crimson red stains white,
so pretty,
yet so tragic.
It’s how fairy tales really end,
after they close the curtains.
Stainless steel on peach colored skin,
it’s painful,
but feels so good.
No prince can take the pain away,
there are no happy endings.
Clear blue tears from hazel-green eyes,
leak down the pale face,
letting everything out.
The poison has been swallowed,
no one to wake her now.
Shiny silver casket inside the dirty ground,
lowered down,
six feet under.
There will be no happy ending for me,
fairy tales were just a dream.
