It needs to be shared
by those who care
not hidden from view
like a taboo secret
It's sweetness
softens hard hearts
It is a powerful thing
there are many types of it too
most of us experience but a few
It sells many things
causes heartache for some
but if you get bitten by the 'bug'
your world is turned inside out

I knew you were talking about love from the first line. Honestly.
It reminded me of the song by Madonna by the same title "Love Makes The World Go Round". I thought you did a great job of describing this word in the poem without saying the word. Love can sure make people feel many different emotions depending on how love works out. Best of luck in the contest.
