Nature's Journal

Watercolored leaf prints
of red and gold
Sweet Gum stars,
Sycamore green

Limetree hearts,
stay suspended
in memory through
the winter light and dark.

This feels realy meaningful holding much depth.
Brilliant metaphore used here to express vibrant memories of brighter days... the comfort they can give aswell as hope to one when days are not so bright.
This is great... all creatively expressed in so few words

Beautiful write. This had nice imagery in it. It made me think of saving the leaves that fall from the tree to remind us of the cycle of the seasons and how summer will always return even during those times when it seems winter is taking so long to pass. Keep writing.
