Love so Pure, Hate so Strong

I love you so much,
That I'm forced to hate you.
You're not here for me.
Why should you be?
I'm just another person in your life.
I'm meaningless.
If I were to pull a knife,
Be gone, dead.
You wouldn't shed a tear,
Just simply bow your head.
Have you fogotten my name?
It hasn't been that long.
It's not like I can trully
Put you to blame,
But knowing that I love with all I can,
And am not loved back?
It's wrong.
No point in life.
I've used the knife.
I'm in a pool of water,
Arms are numb.
World is spining,
I'm falling slowly,
You're not here to catch me.
I don't hate you,
No, I hate myself.

Author notes

Love is not finding someone to live your life with, but finding someone you can't live your life without.

When you've found that someone, you life is complete. Unless they reject you, which is what this poem is about. How you can love a person so much, and yet they don't give you a second thought, and how much it hurts.

But knowing that I love with all I can,
    And am not loved back?

often the hardest thing anyone will have to deal with in life. To give your all to someone, To love them with everything they have, and yet, you get nothing back but pain and rejection.
Your poem does the feeling of hoplessness in the situation much justice.
I doubt that you could only imagine what the pain is like, to have been able to write this you must have gone through the pain in your life time at least once before. Thankfuly though, your not as shallow to end your life over it.
Amazing write, you are truely the most amazing poetress I've ever met.
    Your Atticus forever and always,
    -Seth

    ahhh...yes...unrequited love always...

    sucks!
but the right person will love you back ten fold...every day of the week and twice on sunday!
    it takes two to tango...
this is an excellent write...and your final line:
    no, I hate myself...
is extraordinarily insightful!! very well done!
    Blessings! Tammy

This is a simply amazing poem. Pooring out all of your love, your everything to someone, and then to be rejected like that, it is litterly enough to want to end your life over. You've expressed each emotion so well, the love you have that burns passionatly, and the deep pain that nothing can ever fix deep inside your soul. It's such a deep, pure-cut, raw, emotional write.
I love in your authors notes where you put about love not being finding someone to live your life with, as so many people think, but finding someone you can't live your life without, which your peom truely protrays.
    An absolute masterpeice!!
    With love,
    Trudy
