"Team members down!"
I hear them scream, I hear them wail.
Iron-hard men crying like little girls,
desperate medics scrambling to save lives
yet with bloody uniforms and our rifles we stand
surrounded by hateful souls and speeding bullets.
Ten to one; that's the ratio,
heaven save us we're going to die.
How do we call for a rescue
with nothing but a broken radio?
But courageous men fight,
Firing at will, it's do-or-die!
Death flashes before our eyes
as we fire with all of our might.
All around me they fall,
all around me they die,
I can almost hear Hades' call,
I can almost hear Heaven's cry!
I wonder if they'll ever know
how much courage these men showed,
fighting till their last breaths.
I wonder if they'll honor our deaths...

WoW!
This sure has the excitement of combat about it. Gives us a window on how this scene came to be.
Graphic and heroic both.
Nice job
