As you casually sit there
comfy in your chair
I hope the words I penned
fill an empty space in your
ever- curious mind
may every page that you turn
take you places that only I have been
make you feel emotions only I
have felt
take my words for free
welcome all the stirring your soul can muster
for I lay my life out, in my pen
so go ahead....

Quite an interesting and intriguing piece. It's very light and breezy just like an open window on a lovely spring day I think that you captured that feeling spectacularly well. thanks for entering.

I love how well you executed this poem...
The picture is lovely too.

well done, a nicely done point of view and telling the reader the thoughts as she drinks in the words and the hopes for what the words will mean, very creative. Thank you for this fine entry into the contest and best of luck to you in the judging...PK
