My child,
You are much too young
And I, much too wise
Not to teach you of a fathers' love
I knew before you came, that despite this tragedy
The UN-timely death of My love,Your Papa
You would always have someone to call Father
So I will teach you of the Fathers' Love
The only Father you will ever know
No , we will not be bitter
Nor will we be sad
For your Father in heaven
Will now be called... DAD
So when we pray, we pray like this:
DA-DA DA-DA I love you DA-DA
That's right my child, you are doing so good!
Then when you are a little older my darling, and have a need to be held
you may say:
DADDY, DADDY
I close my eyes and I pretend I am on your shoulders
Hold me now with Your strong arms I pray
Stay by my side DA-DA, teach me how to play
Now as you grow into a fine Young Man, you can say
Father, Father, I love you Father
Make me just like you, I pray
Don't fail to hold me Father
I long to see Your face
I wonder, when I'm older, will you still hold me?

So much emotion in this..
i absolutely loved it (despite my tears) but that is only because it is so heartfelt and warm and loving...
Others may laugh.. but in times when i was sad.. i would close my eyes and i'd feel god's hand on my shoulder.. this is a marvellous piece of writing with a beautiful message..well done..xoxoxo
