i'm not really sure how to define why i think my poem is absrtact...possibly the appraoch-my vision. I suppose you can find an abstract way of thinking here...i state what people know but on a deeper level...hmmmm, not really sure.

This is a really nice poem that makes the reader think and explore the imagination. However, it goes a little too vague than abstract. Maybe you should explain some things, or stretch the poem out to convey some meaning...
Otherwise, good job!

I am going to hold too much comentary because I belive my opinion is only my own but... To me.. this needs more of an attached meaning, the descriptions seem really detached and never get tied together much, although I agree that this keeps it "abstract" I just couldn't connect to the piece. Explaining something simple with these abstractions might work a bit better.

Like you intended, this poem is very abstract. I like the ending with your usage of giving out one, simple color word for a conclusion. Creative write.

Latent= time delay between the moment something is initiated, and the moment one of its effects begins
Achromatic=any color that lacks strong chromatic content is said to be unsaturated, achromatic, or near neutral
Elegance= the attribute of being unusually effective and simple.
BLACK, is suspended within its worldwide social stigma.... linked to either the positive or negative symbolism.
How much more definitive can it get??

you obviously have a strong grasp of the english language- i would love to see you give more definitive imagery- something that really makes the reader stop and take notice-
your final stanza beginning with positively is a very nice use of poetic device-
