You told me so many words,
Each one held some magic,
But when you send me this picture,
I knew it must be true,
When you told me you loved me,
When you told me you cared,
When you said that you needed me,
When you said I was the only one for you,
My heart gave a leap,
My stomach filled with butterflies,
I knew this must be true love
And choked back these tears of mine,
My body tingles with joy,
My cheeks swell with pride,
My hands holds onto your tight,
proclaiming that your mine.
Author notes
I wrote this for the contest but at the same time I wrote it for a long lost love that I wish I could feel once more. But dreams are dreams to a silly child like me.

Dreams are dreams to all of us, that doesn't make us all that silly
