The Lullaby

A flower in a garden
A cloud in the sky
A raindrop in a puddle
Please don’t cry
Hush sweet child
I am here
To sing you a song
To rock you to sleep
Tuck down your little head
And rest you tired eyes
Listen to the crickets
Who sing you a lullaby
The world hums softly
Along with the words
The lyrics of your heart
They know every verse
The moons in the sky
Glowing gently to guide your dreams
As you soar through the stars
On soft white clouds
Till the morning crow
Sings a new song
As you open you eyes
The sun warms the earth
I leave you gently
Until the next verse

Wow this was so beautiful. I love the imagery, rhyme, and emotion pouring out from this little lullaby. Perfect for the baby book & such a treasure to read! Thanks for entering & best of luck
