P layful shy flirtation slowly evolves
I nto a complex problem around which so much revolves
P ainful attempts to keep their love from drifting astray
E ventually brought problems that sent despair their way
R elationship challenged by facts of death and life
A white lighter shouldn't take a witch for a wife
N o matter what their obstacles, they refused to give in
D ifficult it would be, but surely love would win
L ove and determination brought suffering, but also success
E verything eventually worked out for the best
O ne love which survived the test of time.
