Hi, My Name Is Suicide

I am the kid
Who hides herself
From the world
Everyone knows me
But don't kow the things
I have gone through.

I am the kid
Who pulls up her sleeves
Showing scars
And fresh cuts

I am the kid
Who cries herself to sleep
Silently wishes for death
No one cares about me

I am the kid
Who pops pills
Three and four,
Maybe more...
Maybe an overdose
Will end my misery...

I amt he kid
Who was raped
Molested
Abused

I am the kid
Who has anorexia
Trying to literally lose it all
Wishing for death.

I am the kid
Who is sickeningly thin
Who never gets any sleep
Who's skin is pale and pasty
Who has deep, dark eyes
Because of all this...

I am the kid
Who has no one to go to
Sits in the very back,
All by myself.

I am the kid
Who is hurting inside
That no one asks
If everything's ok...

I am the kid
Who looks at you and says
"Hi, my name is suicide...
My best friend is death,
Come flirt with us,
I promise you'll have fun!
I promise that I can make
Everything stop...
Make it all end!
Come, take this blade,
Skip those meals,
Stay awake, don't fall asleep!
It will all be over soon,
I promise..."

Hi, my name is suicide...
Please, be careful with me...
I can cause a lot of pain,
and a lot of misery...
As well as end misery...
just don't fail me...

eh, I did my best! it's really not all that great... but ok... is there anything I can do to make it better?

    No! There is nothing you can do to make this better!!! This was very incredible and very moving. I had a best friend thru hi school that was this person and she grew into a very beautiful person who married and has 2 lovely children. Life is funny that way, it all changes in a flash wether you are ready for it or not. Great poem!!!!

    gut wrenching

    so many lines in this poem had me back re-living some shit from my past ....very deep dark emotional piece very well put together you expressed and vented pain very powerfully heart-wrenching to read.
