My family ,we have a joint garden
called papa's place
nestled in the cove
of our quiet little town
our daily walk
we've made it our own
there are trinkets of love
and letters of secret
and the love of the angels
singing above
there are pictures of beauty
and glass engraved portraits
and a stool made of papa's own hands
the grass is kept green
and the flowers never dry
and the porcelin butterfies
that replace papa's kisses
are shined to perfection
a garden filled with many tears
brings us great joy in new comming years
you see papa lives there
day after day
and it is his home we visit
we kneel and we pray
this well kept garden is alive with love
blessed everyday
by the Lord God above.
