We're going to have a little girl.
She'll have a good life because you taught her with your love.
She's going to be so pretty and find a good husband.
She's going to grow up to be important..... Everything we wanted.
People will see her and say, "She's so pretty like her momma."
And then I'll smile and say, "That's the God-given truth."
There'll be that business, you know the one I'm talking about.
It'll be nice and nestled into the place and people will love it.
You'll be the best there ever was.
Our dreams will come true.
People will see us and say, "They. They did it right. How lucky, how blessed."
And then I'll smile and say, "That's the God-given truth."
There's going to be a little boy.
He's going to be strong, a protector type, but still in touch with his soft side.
He's going to be everything he could be, never settling for second.
He's going to grow up and kiss you in front of his friends at the high school.
People will see him and say, "His mother did it so well."
And then I'll smile and say, "That's the God-given truth."
There'll be a nice little house, cozy and warm.
It's going to be welcoming and loving.
There'll be that nice little cottage with pets, all the best.
There'll be a rosebush and flowers, no stickers or weeds.
People will see it and say, "They're living with love, what a dream."
And then I'll smile and say, "That's the God-given truth."
Time will pass and wrinkles will etch themselves on.
And people have died and others been born.
And memories don't fade, and love still remains.
Deep and fiery and passionate as ever had been before.
We'll look back and see our lives and say, "We did our best and it turned out great."
And then I'll smile and say, "That's the God-given truth."
