How can you love someone many miles away
There's two lives within different places
Your heart feels warm when around him
The mental wisdom educates the both of you
But you ask, how can you love someone so far
away
The questions that clutter your mind on a
daily basis
Is he ever coming to you or you going to him
Sometimes you wonder is it just the years you
known him or that very first crush that drew
you to him from the beginning
So again the question stands, how can you
love someone many miles away?

That's definitely a relationship that requires a lot of trust. And you have to be patient until you're able to be with each other.

i'm in love with someone who lives over an hour away. but that might be because he used to live not even 5 minutes away from me and i was engaged to him once upon a time. i get the point of the poem and i've asked myself this same question a lot of times... How can i love him when he lives miles away, but i manage to hold on to the love that i feel for him. it's a really good poem and you're a really talented artist.. I look forward to reading some more of your poetry.
