Poem

Another face in the crowd
Not really making a sound
Only showing her true self
When surrounded by books or music on a shelf
Always with her nose in a book
Not even picking up her head to look
For any sound
That might be around
Music is her passion
Maybe more like her fashion
Wearing band shirts
And detesting skirts
Glasses and short hair
She guesses it’s only fair
A scholar is her profession
It was even her decision
She has a lover
But he needs to discover
Her true self which is never told
Because she doesn’t want it to unfold
But soon she will trust
Just let her adjust

Please tell me what you think
