it is difficult for me to read songs.... perhaps I should specify poems in my next contest... I apologize, this is not your fault, this is my shortcoming or issue to be gotten over, it is just difficult to see or hear or read a song without the music to it (and I can't read music, so I'd prefer to hear it) because then it's not at its full potential... some poems have a flow that is very musical, the only things that made me think this might have been a song before I got to the author's notes was the repetition... I am not looking at how these pieces have been categorized because I'm not judging based on category... perhaps I am not qualified to judge songs... there is my honest and rambling opinion for you...
