.Does Global Warming really mean . .
God intends to banish us from the Earth
Did God plant mankind’s inherent frailties
As a test to qualify, what we’re really worth
As the icecaps flood the deserts
And the jungles devour the towns
Will our architectural marvels . .
Become . . uninhabitable mounds
Is our inability to manage . .
This wondrous domain
Simply an indication
That we’re incurably profane
Will our repenting prayers in panic
Be regarded as insincere . .
God knowing we make promises
To which we eventually won’t adhere
Will the mushrooming populations
Get totally beyond comprehension
Will plagues redress the balance
Is that really God’s intention
Does God intend the Earth to recycle
With a better generation . .
Is that really what God’s thinking ?
Is that part of His contemplation
Can everyone be equal . .
When leadership is paramount
Is democracy really logical
And doesn’t supervision count
And does everyone being equal
Regardless of . . . I.Q.
Ultimately ensure hopelessness’’
No matter what you do . .
Would a compassionate dictatorship
Prove to be . . a better way . .
Yes . . As I sat here pondering
That’s the thought I had today
