This is one of my favorites! I share some of those [Montana winter morning] memories. You have expressed this beautifully!

I see we here in Minnesota do not have a monopoly on cold winter mornings. THank you so much for your kind comments and applause, very much appreciated.

Yes, something about the warmth of a wood stove and a cold morning that makes one want to snooze. Thank you for your comments and applause.

Such a cozy, snug feeling you've drawn through this haiku, Dawn. It's turned autumn-chilly so quickly here, I'm needing Grandma's quilt and a crackling wood-stove too!

Thank you so much for this entry and contribution to the haiku-quilt!

      Thank you Jo

I appreciate your kind comments, I love your kitten! Chilly here too! Ever heat with just a wood stove? If you have you could relate to the feeling of waking up being able to see your breathe! COLD! The whole family would end up snuggling under that quilt. Thank you for your kind comments and applause, very appreciated! Great idea for a contest by the way!
