White Lies

She rails against the woman
In the mirror of her mind.
Wishing for and end to it
While cutting her next line.

Don't think, don't talk, don't cry now
It starts too much debate.
Just let the magic powder
Smother the vast self-hate.

What life is there, what reason
Beyond this lonely room?
This demon exists solely
In yellow-haloed gloom.

Dead eyes stare accusingly
From the shattered glass.
Fragments of her sanity
Scream echoes of the past.

Curled naked on the floor now
All reason stripped clean
She relinquishes all hope
Of daylight being seen.

oh damn.. there was such a (I so suck at giving good comments ugh) movement and a life in this darkness.. If that makes any sense? I swear I could almost hear Martina singing this..

I loved it, in that Gawd ain't life just twisted way..
