Pain...Pain
My ankle was throbbing
And I still had the task of getting home
Absolute desperation
I asked her to help me
And she did
Even though I have been a complete bitch
To her the past year
She helped me across the oval
Giving me words of comfort
When I thought I couldn't keep moving
She got me down to them
Then went on her way
I hang with them every afternoon
While waiting for the bus
We argue and fight and play around. never serious
Yet that I needed them to help me
And they did, without question
The one who was supposed to be my best friend...wasn't there
The one I argue with everyday...had his arm around my waist
Helping me get onto the bus
Slow trip home, dreading the thought of getting off the bus
Then my stop came
And I got off the bus by myself
With my bus driver and a 12 year old behind me
And they helped me across the street, to my home
More than I could ever ask of them
It wasn't the smartest way to get home granted
But it was an adventure
I saw how far people were willing to go to help me
Who my true friends were
How kind and caring people can be
Thank You
To everyone of them who helped me
You helped make a great memory
And proved the theory right
Theres No Happiness Without Pain
