The Painting

Soft bristles dipped in colors
of every mood
raked the clear canvas
gifted by him

fresh green lawn
soaked in golden sun
filtered warm honey hues

across the saline pools
in moist eyes
a rainbow voiced her heart

his squared fingers
brushed her satin cheeks
with soft playful shades

a tinge of light blush upon lips
dissolved short giggles
within a wide landscape

the picture of her pale soul
merged beautifully
inside the frame of his charm

Perfect combination of despair and Hope

You definetly know how to paint your words into a perfect picture. This poem is a perfect combination of despair and hope. There is so much going on in our lives the only thing that keeps us going is hope and your poem overflows with it, especially the last paragraph. A lovely read and yeah it feels good for sure to get back to the painting class, hope you paint many more wonders.

    Mexicalli Rose coloured.

As I see, a darker shade here, I guess it's because of me. and my guess is, with that beautiful backgraoumd, anyone reading this will in effect see a contrasting aura which is theirs. I alas, see a pretty picture, but not mine! Full marks for a cheery verse which somehow contrasts with mine!

The intermittent true light, between each colour I'd asssume, there is something quite canny along with my write. Nice job.
