an exact point in time...
globes of life
linger mid drop -
or do they linger apneatic
till they drip what is to be?
larks flood the page
onlooking drizzle of ink will -
eventually decide to join
once thought I'd rather
see feathers furl in autumn decay
but the still life smears anew
& it re-cycles
as the larks do now
parading into my vision -
only to be blinked away
to settle on my Kingfisher
as I flip through the days
it's not discipline that I
found myself in the Texas heat -
through you & I
is where all ends met
sewing our nest -
& binding our book
we reprint history...
on a glossier spread
& our absolution -
it lies within our resolution

This was beautifully done and I love the form. It was structured perfectly. You have done quite well here. Thank you for sharing this with me and best wishes in all of your endeavors. Keep that pen handy and ever ready for use dear poet.

Absolutely love the fourth stanza!!
What I love about you is your consistency and the control you have over the words.
I am so glad to see you back!

This has some wonderful imagery in it, very well written. It does sound like the random thoughts of one, but yet, it all seems to make such perfect sense...
I love the last stanza, really makes it come full circle. Well, thats what I got out of it!
A great piece!
