--- Silver - I'm Riding Over The Dunes
I'm riding over the dunes, upon my horse. Riding so hard for I'm in remorse. Thoughts are running in my mind, and I never want to look behind. The night is clear, the air stale. Up in the sky, a moon so pale. Howling wolves, and owls in flight, spooking me throughout, the night. When will I stop I don't know. When the remorse is over I suppose. Running, madly, into the night, following the moon's wide plight. Escaping the guilt I feel in my heart Escaping the hurt I just had to start. Desert winds and desert sand, I'm barreling hastily, through this hostile land. I leave you behind, don't follow me I've gotta go just let me be. http://allpoetry.com/poem/3506992 © Cara L.
