Night never lost forever
so also the day
The Sun and the Moon are waiting
hiding on other side of the globe.
Eternal joy is a myth
in a fairy tale of a poet,
Like sweet orange covered by a sour peal
joy hides beneath the surface.
One lands on a shore
as it comes
A shore of our choice
is of unknown latitude and longitude.
After traveling far
one comes back to one self
The anchor that held invisible rope pulls
but thought fancies always away from one self.
Remembrances trail us
colors our journey
The wish is to succeed ever
but outcome is anything.
Author notes
We always move away from one self to find happiness. Understanding one self is the key to happiness.

very good
"Remembrances trail us
colors our journey"
wow, i was looking for an old pic
and
like all the old family pics, circa 1968
brings back a lot
so your work is very poignant
great read
you emphrasize so much
and
so true
our memories are behind us
but also, with us
as we walk our path
a sort of changing of the seasons for us
with colorful, bright, wonderful times in our lives
-
a truth, a lie, and a reality
?
is that what you meant?
you appear to be an "english as a second language" person, or at least one unconcerned with accuracy in your use of the english language
and I've fallen into the trap of being a "grammar nazi"
but "orange peel" would be the correct way to put it, and other than that
I like it. Looking at purely the concept, and the kool lines, I like it. -

what a great ending
the seasons change
we change
but
we are always ourselves
terrific read

I like the 2nd stanza. Some parts of it are a little bit pointless, but on the full scale I think this is a really nice read and put together nicely.

Interesting title dada....loved the following stanza
"Eternal joy is a myth
in a fairy tale of a poet,
Like sweet orange covered by a sour peal
joy hides beneath the surface."
