love is everthing
its a smile on his lips a sweet gentle kiss
its holding his hand
make him strong being a man
stand beside him and walk
be gentle when you talk
show him love
do little things that he likes
make him smile in delight
be for him when he is weak
let him talk let him speak
show him love
be compassinate
when he is ill make him strong so he can heal
show him love
and if you two dont agree let it go let it be
set it back and you will see it was not a mountain but a hill
show him love
then as a day turns to years and you both have compromised
you can still look him in his eyes
and show him love

I liked how you kept on repeating and stressing that one liner: Show him Love. The world would be such a better place if everyone read this poem and took it to heart within our own lives. I really enjoyed how you described it not being a mountain but only a hill. In times of trouble, everything always seems to look so much worse than it truly is. You did a great job of showing us reality right there. Beautiful.
