Send me a letter
Write me a note
Let me know how things are
So far from home
I missed a birthday
And you missed mine
It's only been four months
And already it's hard
I miss my family and friends
My training just barely ended
I don't where I'll go next
But please don't cry for me
I may not go off to war
But write me just the same
Tell me that you love me
I love you, too
I am your daughter, sister, or friend
Please let me know what you're doing
Connect me with you
So I'm not so lost and out of things
Author notes
I'm a Sailor, and I've just finished my tech training. I haven't been home in four and a half months, almost. I've missed my sister and my mom's birthdays and
countless other smaller things. It hurts a lot. I chose Letters From War, Option #4.

This is a very good write. I liked it most bc I don't get a lot of entries from or about women in the services and I believe they deserve just as much respect as the men. Great write and good luck with the contest!
