The golden disc falls
And colors the wall
It slides down with
Blood, gold, and dark sapphire.
Diamonds scatter variously
Over the now sapphire wall
As a silver coin appears
In place of the gold disc.
The blood and gold fades
Leaving no foul smell
For those whose souls
Now fly freely into the sky.
Spirits cast off
Their heavy shells
To meet again those
They've loved and lost.
Now that the golden disc
Has set for the Earthly bodies,
The souls once trapped here
Now roam free once more.
The silver coin arises
And takes the free souls,
Dancing and singing,
To their new home.

Very well written. A sunset or even a sunrise is the most beautiful thing of nature I believe. Thanks for showing me what you think with such wonderfully written words. Thanks for entering the contest and good luck.
